Introduction to Music Recording: A Syllabus with Course Design Details and Discussion
This paper will provide the full syllabus for an introductory music production course taught to students majoring in music production.  Details include course context, learning outcomes, instructional strategies, assessment, course materials and facilities, and additional discussion.  I would like to contribute to the discussion surrounding audio engineering technology education so that the AES community might work toward a library of example syllabi and program paths, a standardized list of learning outcomes and improved teaching resources. This description is not intended to stand as a finished example, but instead a constant work in progress.
